Product Details
ANTON Tops are made from Reinforced Cement Fiberboard with a hardened finish.
The specially formulated finish makes for a hard-wearing cement finish, that is more scratch resistant than most cement products in the market today. The design features generous proportions and a unique effect on solid wood cabinet and legs
The Finishing on the top is 3 coats of Polyurethane based Pigment finishing. This finish is waterproof and stain resistant.
To Clean
To clean the cement top, use a light application of gentle surface cleaners/soaps and wipe with a soft cloth, and avoid bleach or abrasive pads/sponges. Abrasive materials may cause micro scratches that will further hold dirt and stains.
On the timber cabinets part, only use a damp cloth with water. Avoid soap/detergents like all timber furniture products. Avoid oils and stains, as they are not suitable for modern wire-brushed finishes. As a general tip, avoid microfiber cloth for wire-brushed products as they are more likely to snag onto the wood fibers. Paper towels and cotton cloth would work better.
General Care
Make sure to avoid direct sunlight on any timber, painted, or fabric products. Strong sunlight can cause colour to fade unevenly on the sections exposed.
Also, avoid placing the furniture within 1-2 meters of a heater or fireplace. Timber products will expand and contract with temperature changes. If subjected to a strong source of heat, especially unevenly, it will be much more likely to crack/split. This applies to all timber products.
